YOGA

Cost for the 8 weeks:
1 x 1 Hour/ week $90.50 (tax included)
1 x 45 Min/ week $72.50 (tax included)
Drop-ins: may be possible during this session. Please call the clinic to ensure that there is adequate space. Cost per 1 Hour class is $11.50 (tax included). Cost per 45 Min class is $9.00 (tax included). If you have never attended a yoga class at our studio, please arrive early to fill in the appropriate forms.

*We plan on bringing back more classes and more variety to our yoga classes (pilates-yoga, vinyasa yoga, and specialty classes- prenatal, restorative, etc.) in the Next Sessions*
Hatha Yoga is a slower-paced yoga class that focuses on gentle stretching, simple breathing exercises and possibly seated meditation. It is a good place for beginners to start to learn basic poses, relaxation techniques, and to become comfortable with yoga; however, it can be made more challenging with intermediate to advanced options.
Yoga-Pilates is a fusion blend of Yoga, Pilates and fitness conditioning that challenges strength, balance and flexibility. Participation in this class will also increase stamina, focus the mind and tone the entire body. Participants will learn the fundamentals of Yoga and Pilates and receive a solid foundation in both. Each yogilates class concludes with one of a variety of relaxation techniques. Busy people love this class because they can enjoy the benefits of Yoga and Pilates at the same time. All fitness levels are welcome.

Learn to Run in Just 10 Weeks!
9 Weeks

5K & 10K Clinic
The 5K clinic is designed to prepare you for a 5K event. The 10K clinic is designed to preapre you for a 10K event.
You have the basics of Running from the Learn to Run program and now want to achieve a specific ‘distance’ goal. This program will bring you to the 5K/10K distance and hopefully help achieve those goals.
Here's a program that will allow you to use the 10 & 1 (run / walk) program using Intermediate and Advanced training schedules. It covers the basics like nutrition, goal setting, pacing, heart rate training and much more.
This program will focus on increasing your ability to cover distance in your training and allow you to run comfortably without spending a great deal of time training or recovering! This clinic also allows you to improve your running speed/time if you have previously completed these distances. Our running instructors are here to help you reach your goals!
10 Weeks
1 Class per Week (Thursdays 6:05pm)
Begins March, 2012!

Half Marathon Clinic
The Half Marathon Clinic is designed to prepare you for a half marathon event. This clinic also provides the opportunity to improve your running speed/time if you have previously completed this distance. Our running instructors are here to help you achieve your goals! Running talks focus on more advanced aspects of running: avoiding dehydration, using nutrtion during an event, heart rate training.
12 weeks
1 Class per week (Thursdays 6:00PM)
Begins February/March, 2012!

Training for: The National Capital Race Weekend
